* First You have to Upgrade Samsung Galaxy S to Android 2.3 Gingerbread
Require :
1. Your phone must be rooted
2. Your /data must be converted to EXT4 by the Voodoo lagfix
3. Complete backups are recommended before you attempt this
4. You must have Busybox
Now Download -
a) CM7.tar.gz
b) nsonsgs-unsigned-cwm-update.zip
Steps to Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread on Samsung Galaxy S
1. Copy the file CM7.tar.gz on your SD card
2. Run these commands
adb shell
su
cd /data
mkdir gingerbread
cd gingerbread
busybox tar zxvf /sdcard/system-dump-as-root.tar.gz
mkdir data
busybox cp -a /efs efs
sync
reboot recovery
3. Unzip nsonsgs.tar.zip to nonsgs.tar
4. Flash nsonsgs-unsigned-cwm-update.zip via CWM recovery.
