Microsoft Kinect in Windows 8 spotted – The first sign of Microsoft’s Kinect Integration for Windows 8 has been discovered, according to the reports from the top sources.

To take advantage of Webcams and future webcam based sensors, Microsoft is expected to include Kinect-like features inside Windows 8. According to a report from Windows8Italia, this current Milestone version of Windows 8 sports a new “Sensor Control Panel” that makes reference to “Detect Human Presence” Option. Where the Microsoft’s original leaked Slides shows the ability for a Webcam to detect a users presence and log them in automatically.

What this says is : This discovery of the same appears to confirm that Microsoft is experimenting with the Integration of Kinect-like Facial detection as Sensor Inside Windows 8. Where, Microsoft will use Kinect Camera to automatically detect Xbox LIVE users and sign them into several Services. Which means, this functionality in Windows 8 will make users to to simply Switch between Desktops by sitting in front of PC, as in the previously leaked slides in June.
the integration will require a special webcam similar to the Kinect device which includes a depth sensor and full-body 3D motion capture, but has not been confirmed yet.Via
