LG Optimus 2X is the World’s Fastest Dula Core Smartphone ? Becuase LG announced the World’s first and fastest Dula-Core Smartphone “LG Optimus 2X” with Tegra 2 Processor and this will be available in Korea next month (Jaunuary 2011), and will come to more regions like Europe and Asia soon.
LG Optimus 2X which is packed with 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor, has became the first Device or Smartphone to use New Tegra 2 Chip and the first dual core GSM Phone.
Key specifications of the LG Optimus 2X include:
* 1Ghz Dual-core Processor (NVIDIA Tegra 2)
* 4-inch WVGA screen
* 8GB memory (up to 32GB via microSD), 512 MB RAM
* 1,500 mAh battery
* 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera
* HDMI mirroring
* 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback and recording
While this LG Optimus 2X will initially released with Android 2.2 Froyo and can be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and Google is releasing the full Gingerbread source code after the Nexus S launch and it will take LG several weeks to upgrade their new Optimus 2X Tegra 2 Dual Core Smartphone.
The NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip apparently handles full 1080p HD video without a hitch, which is nice cause the Optimus 2x has a HDMIout connection. The full 1080p HDMI out is another first for the LG Optimus 2x, due to the fact that most other phones top out at 720p. So you gotta figure if it can handle 1080p playback, what’s stopping it from recording in full 1080p HD? Nothing, the Optimus 2x has a 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera. The rear 8 megapixel camera records beautifully in full 1080p MPEG-4/H.264.
This LG Optimus 2X will be available in early 2011, and many rumors also say that it could start shipping in late February or early March 2011. For full press release head over to LG Newsroom.
