Microsoft announced today via its Windows Phone Developer Blog the release of a new tool designed to help developers migrate iPhone applications to the Windows Phone 7 platform. While Microsoft reminds developers that there’s “no magic wand that will do the work for you,” the new iPhone/iOS to Windows Phone 7 API mapping tool will make the process far less painful.
To help Developers with guide, this API Mapping Tool is available with bunch of Documentations, Videos, and Other Resources and this API Mapping Tool works like a Dictionary, that allows Developers to pick out bits of Code, which to be translated.
While there are three Major Categories that can be mapped with this App Migration Tool, and those are Network/Internet, User Interface and Data Management. But, not all parts can be mappable, so Microsoft promises more APIs to be Mapped Soon and they are Working.
