Safari v5.1 in Lion – A revision of Download Window, this is a tweak discovered by a Italian Mac Site “Melamorsicta.it“. Actually, few days back it was discovered that Apple is building a new feature to Safari called Reading List and that feature works like a Instapaper and allows users to save Web pages for later viewing. Now a New Download Windows has been discovered on Safari in Lion.
This Image shows everything, like you can see Safari now sports a Downloads button next to the Google Search Field, which are presumably changeable, as all Safari Toolbar Buttons. If you are Downloading in progress, then this Button shows a blue Progress bar, similar to te progress bar found on App icons when we are downloading and Installing them on an iOS Device.
To display all the current and Past Downloads, you have to just click on the Downloads Button, which will bring up a Pop-up Menu and this is not an Earth Shattering Feature, but it will make very easy for unknown users who are not familiar with calling up the Downloads Window to Find. Via
